What To Expect

In Hanoi, expect a captivating blend of tradition and modernity with bustling streets adorned by ancient temples, colonial architecture, and vibrant markets, alongside serene lakes offering respite from the city's pace. Halong Bay promises a natural wonderland of limestone karsts rising from emerald waters, dotted with caves and secluded beaches, evoking serenity and awe. Saigon, or Ho Chi Minh City, pulsates with energy as the southern hub of Vietnam, offering a dynamic mix of ancient traditions and contemporary lifestyles amidst rapid urbanization, creating a vibrant cultural mosaic to explore and enjoy.

Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be warmly greeted by our guide and driver. Transfer to hotel to check in and rest.

Morning:

8h30: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, and start a full-day city tour. The tour starts with the Ho Chi Minh complex:

  1. Visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, and One Pillar pagoda. Then we will visit the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam.
  2. Continue the trip to Hoa Lo Prison, once called “Hell in the Earth”, which was used by the French colonists to sentence Vietnamese political prisoners.

Afternoon:

14h30: We will continue to visit the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem. After that, we will visit St. Joseph's Cathedral. It is a late 19th-century Gothic Revival church that serves as the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hanoi to nearly 4 million Catholics in the country.

Enjoy the Water Puppet Show - A form of folk art originating in the north of Vietnam, in which wood puppets play their roles according to the direction of puppeteers and singers of Cheo (a kind of traditional theater in Vietnam) sing songs to tell the story in words.

17h00: Come back to the hotel and rest.

8h00: A shuttle bus will pick you up at the hotel.

12h30: Receptionists welcome guests at the International Tuan Chau harbor.

12h45: Captain welcomes guests to Syrena cruises by tender. Check-in cruise, whilst enjoying a welcome drink, safety briefing, and check-in cabin.

13h00: Leaving International Tuan Chau harbor, discover the Halong Bay - natural wonders of the world. Have lunch with special foods while cruising through famous sights Ba Hang Fishing Village, Đinh Huong Island, Cho Da Islet, Ga Choi Islet...

14h30: Cruises stop at Bo Nau Cave, the core area of the world's natural heritage. Transfer by tender to Surprise Cave - one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay.

15h45: Leaving Surprise cave, transfer by tender to the Titov island was named by Uncle Ho, after Gherman Stepanovich Titov - the Soviet astronaut who visited in 1962. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach, or climbing the steps of the Rock to the top of the island. On the top of the mountain, you can see a corner of magical Halong Bay.

16h45: Back to the cruise. Relax and enjoy a sunset on the sun deck. Go to the overnight place.

18h00 - 19h00: HAPPY HOUR - Buy 1 drink get 1 free (wine excluded).

18h30: Enjoy the Vietnamese cooking demonstration.

19h00: Acquaint your seat with the set menu dinner.

20h30: Evening activities include film entertainment (in the dining room); squid fishing; and massage (contact with cruise manager for service price)...

Overnight in Syrena cruise.

06h30: Enjoy Tai Chi instructions on the sundeck in 30 minutes whilst cruising to Luon cave.

07h00: Enjoy a light breakfast in the restaurant (coffee, tea, fresh milk, water, pastries, bread, egg, fresh fruit, and cereals will be served in the dining room).

08h00: After breakfast, take a guided tour to visit Luon cave - one of the caves open to the form of beautiful endemic vegetation of Halong Bay. Visit Luon cave by a traditionally woven (bamboo) boat rowed by a local boatman.

08h30: Then come back to the Syrena cruise, relax, and check out of the cabin. Please put your luggage outside the door. Our porters will collect and get them ready on the Pier for you. Finally, the cruise disembarks in International Tuan Chau harbor.

09h15: Enjoy the brunch buffet menu served in the dining room. Settle bills in the dining room after brunch (if you have one).

10h45: Transfer by tender back to Tuan Chau harbor and disembarkation. Farewell to guests.

15h00 - 15h30: Transfer to the airport for the flight to Saigon.

Upon arriving in Saigon, you will be greeted by our guide and driver. Transfer to hotel and check-in.

7h30: After breakfast at the hotel, start our tour in the morning, before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels.

Afterwards, enjoy tea, and cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Cu Chi Tunnels is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War.

In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens.

Come back to Saigon to start the journey Saigon half-day city tour.

You will begin your urban experience in bustling Saigon, the country's commercial center and home to a growing number of upscale shops.

Visit the Reunification Palace, the Opera House and the Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the War Remnants Museum. Then visit Ben Thanh's market before ending this day.

Depart at 8h00 am from the southern economic hub of Saigon City to the area referred to locally as the rice bowl of Vietnam”.

Upon arrival at My Tho, cruising along a small creek to the Mekong River estuary, to Con Phung (Phoenix Island). The motorized boat cruises more along natural creeks and quiet villages in Ben Tre Province.

En-route visit a small factory producing handicrafts made of coconut. Visit orchards, and bee-keeping farms, taste natural honey and honey wine, enjoy tropical fruit, and traditional music, see around a distillery, explore the local coconut candy production process, and taste candy & coconut pulp.

Come back to Saigon City in the afternoon.
