What To Expect
Embark on an enchanting journey from Danang to explore the Marble Mountains, discover the historic charm of Hoi An Ancient Town, and participate in the memorable tradition of releasing lanterns in Hoi An. With its blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and immersive experiences, a day trip from Danang to the Marble Mountains and Hoi An Ancient Town offers a memorable journey through Vietnam's central coast, providing insight into the rich history and traditions of the region.

About 10h00 am: After being picked up from your accommodation in Danang you will drive to Marble Mountain. Upon arrival at the mountain, you will climb the stone stairs to visit the caves and pagodas while admiring the magnificent panoramic view. Next, you will go to Am Phu Cave, where you will discover amazing underground tunnels, an experience that will be accompanied by the resonant sound of bats' wings. You will then go to visit Linh Ung Pagoda. Built during the reign of King Minh Mang in the Nguyen dynasty (19th century), legend has it that a Buddhist statue would have drifted downstream from this region before anchoring itself in a sand embankment.
11h30 am: After this exploration, you will have lunch at a local restaurant (self–payment).
After lunch, transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town, from Danang to Hoi An about 1 hour. You will discover the city of Hoi An on foot. This historic city, which was a prosperous port city from the 16th to the 18th century, is now a beautiful city not to be missed.
We will transfer to go to Hoi An Old Town. You will have an opportunity to visit Hoi An Market, the Historical House, Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, the Japanese Covered Bridge, and Art Craft Manufacturing with artwork galleries in the town.
Admire Hoi An at sunset, this is a very romantic time.
Release lanterns in Hoi An (Cost is included) will take place in the center of the old town - where the Hoai River flows smoothly. The lanterns in Hoi An are made of colorful paper, cut and folded very cleverly (15 minutes by boat).
Starting to release the lanterns is around 6h00 pm, when Hoi An Ancient Town lights up, the guide will take you to the Hoai River area, sit on the boat to buy lanterns, make wishes, and release the lanterns.
Very suitable for couples.
19h00 pm: Come back to Danang.
