Welcome to Saigon, you will be greeted and picked up by our local guide at Tan Son Nhat Airport.

8h00 am: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel, and depart for Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi Tunnel which is an underground tunnel complex legacy of the Vietnam War against the United States. Step back in time to understand more about the life of Viet Cong guerrillas and local people during the War.

Before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, and cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war).

Cu Chi Tunnels is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens.

Afternoon:

3h00 pm: We will start the city tour.

The first destination will be the War Remnants Museum. In 1995, following the normalization of diplomatic relations with the United States and the end of the US embargo a year before, the references to "war crimes" and "aggression" were dropped from the museum's title as well; it became the War Remnants Museum.

The Independence Palace:

  1. Independence Palace, also publicly known as Reunification Convention Hall, built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, is a landmark in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
  2. Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral (pass by). Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon is a cathedral located in the downtown of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Established by French colonists who initially named it the Church of Saigon (French: l'Eglise de Saïgon), the cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880.

Central Post Office: Saigon Central Post Office is a post office in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, near Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, the city's cathedral. It has Gothic, Renaissance, and French influences. It was constructed between 1886 and 1891 and is now a tourist attraction.

8h00 am: A tour guide and driver pick you up at the hotel to go to the Mekong Delta. During the 1 hour and half-car ride, we will pass through green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho.

9h30 am: We arrive at the Vinh Trang Pagoda. It is the biggest pagoda in the Mekong Delta region. You will be guided to explore the most beautiful temple in the region block filled with fruit trees in the village of My Hoa in the town of My Phong, on the banks of the Bao Dinh canal.

10h30 am: Going to My Tho.

  1. Your trip continues from here by motorized boat on the Tien River to the Tortoise, the Dragon, Phoenix, and Unicorn Islet.
  2. Walking into the village, where you can visit a local fruit garden and enjoy the tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by islanders. Here you can join the daily activities of the local people and take in the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside.
  3. Visiting the bee house.

12h30 pm: Having lunch.

2h00 pm: Going to Ben Tre Province.

  1. Ben Tre Province is known as “The Land of Coconut”. Here you will visit the coconut candy-making shop.
  2. Enjoy a rowing boat trip on the small canal, fully covered by water with coconut palms on both sides. After that, you will have time to relax on a hammock or bike around the village.

4h30 pm: Back to the hotel.

Flight from Saigon to Siem Reap.

Arrive Siem Reap, Siem Reap – Treasure of the Kingdom of Cambodia, special welcome to everybody, a moment of courtesy. You meet your guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Today we will visit the West Gate of Angkor Thom - undiscovered by a mass of tourists.

  1. The ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century).
  2. See the South Gate, Bayon Temple - unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara.
  3. Baphuon temple lying just to the north of Bayon a pyramidal representation of the mythical Mount Meru.
  4. We step to see our old palace Phimeankas temple in a huge complex that was used for our king in the past time.
  5. Then Elephant Terrace was a platform for the king and officers to view shows and people meetings.
  6. Preah Palilay is older than Angkor Thom nearby, deep in the forest and on the path back You see monks sprinkle water to people.
  7. Ta Prohm “Tomb Raider” fame. Ta Prohm has been abandoned to the elements, a reminder that while empires rise and fall, the riotous power of nature marches on, oblivious to the dramas of human history.

We continue to the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat has been a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Admire the Sunset tour at Phnom Bakheng or Pre Rup to watch golden colors shadow the temple and landscape.

We will transfer to Tonle Sap Lake for a boat trip to visit, where we will have the opportunity to learn about life on the lake. On the way, we will pass floating houses and impressive flooded forests, portraying life on the water. Returning to town, we will go to visit Artisans d’Angkor. There, we can take a tour through the workshops and watch students as they learn how to create silk fabrics and garments, stone and wood carving, lacquer ware, polychrome products, silver plating, and silk paintings.

Transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure to the next destination. Say goodbye to your driver.
